Hi is really supportive and approachable, set clear expectations, and give you room to grow. The lab culture is genuinely fun and collaborative, and if you ever need help, they’re always there to guide you. It’s a great environment to learn and do research. I did see another comment that was more negative, so I think it might be a good idea to set up a meeting with him or even talk to some of the grad students to get a better sense of things before forming an opinion. :))

* Uncanny resemblance to Larry David
* Lab is in a fancy new building

***Negatives -  ***

* He is not funny like Larry David...not even close
* You share lab space in said fancy building, which sucks 
* Very poor mentorship with no feedback
* Boring pretentious research or at least how he presents it
* Not honest and fake nice, just a typical privileged nepo baby
